Set a time:
• When will you read and pray? Before school? Before you go to bed? Plan your prayer and Bible reading for a set time in your day’s routine, and it will make it easier to remember.
Bible Study Helps
• If you’re just starting a Read the Bible Every Day Habit, where will you begin? In a book that’s easy to understand, such as the gospels of Matthew or John, right at the beginning, in Genesis, or will you use a devotional book? Check with Missy if you want some help.
Remember that new habits take time to build.
** Don’t give up! Stick with it, even if you skip a day (or two, or three…). Every time you pray or read your Bible that’s one more time than if you hadn’t!
** Keep asking God to help you remember to keep your resolution.
** Tell a friend about your resolution. Support each other, and check on and encourage each other.
